Summary: Poor Resume samples
Comment: I was so happy when I found this book. It turned out to be very disapointing. I found many of the sample resumes to be too long and outdated. The authors break many of the rules for the writing and the layout. They recommend that people put reference statments at the bottom of the resume "references upon request." In this day in age that is not needed. Many of the resumes where for jobs that are not what I consider Social service jobs. Most of the sample resumes and cover letters are two pages long. Not many HR people would spend the time reading these long documents. I did not find this book to be helpful.
