Summary: Math Review for the Confused
Comment: Since I'm planning on taking the GMAT this fall I started my studying by taking a GMAT review class in February. The only reason I survived the math review was because of the GRE/GMAT Math Review 2000 Edition. Please note, this review book was not the chosen material for the class. Math has never been my strength, but this review book gave me the clarity my high school teachers never could! If I could change anything, I would add more pratice problems to each section. I highly recommend this book.

Summary: Good book, but...
Comment: I bought this book because I needed help with some math topics tested on the GMAT. It helped me, but I recommend this book for test takers who have no idea how to sum fractions or how to solve a quadratic equation. If you are above 70% percentile this is not the book you need. Furthermore, this review doesn't content statistics, combination and permutation, and probability. I took the GMAT and I got 3 statistics, 4 combination and 8 probability questions, very hard questions. The test taker should take into account that the math section is harder than ever.

Summary: EXCELLENT
Comment: I've always been a math person, but because I passed all of my math requirements for college, I never took a single math class in college. But 5 years after graduating, I realized that I wanted to pursue business school, so this was one of the books I picked out mainly to brush-up on my math. WOW, THIS IS SUCH AN AWESOME BOOK. It covers the BASICS, but trust me, if you don't know them, you're completely screwed. There were plenty of rules I had forgotten and this book covered them ALL. And it even gives you GREAT practice on the yucky data-sufficiency questions. Sure the problems aren't extremely challenging, but again, IT'S ALL ABOUT THE BASICS. SO GET THIS BOOK, YOU WON'T REGRET IT.
