Summary: A poetically beautiful book, great for bedtime reading.
Comment: This book has softly-shaded, almost dreamlike, watercolor pictures that are soothing to look at and the text flows easily and poetically. My daughter, age six, loves this book and we often read it before bed because of its calming quality. The story is about moving to a new home, from the cat's perspective, and if you've ever moved with a cat you know how the cat behaves is true. This book is as much a joy to hear being read as it is to look at. Although the suggested reading level is "baby-preschool," I think early elementary-level children will appreciate the poetic text even more so. It's definitely a favorite in our home.
