Summary: Barely amusing
Comment: I have got to stop reading these Young Adult books.
The story is based upon the Salem Witch Trials. Buffy, Xander, and Giles have very vivid dreams of Salem in 1692. Buffy dreams of Samantha Kane, Giles of her watcher, and Xander of Sarah Dinsdale. It seems as though the dreams are coming true, and history is set to repeat itself.
Maybe it's just me, but I'm not sure the writer has ever seen an episode of Buffy. Giles telling a man he meets "You must be rich" ? That is so out of character it goes without saying. Then you have Buffy changing clothes to look better BEFORE checking on Xander to make sure he's ok? This books is filled with more horrible slang, and everyone is out of character. It doesn't read like Buffy at all.
The plot is simple, predictable, and boring. I was never interested, and only finished it so I could write the review, and believe me, it was a struggle. There are better books out there, so save your money for something else.

Comment: Night of the living rerun is a book based on the tv series buffy the vampire slayer. the book is very well written and portrays the charcters of the show well. the best part about the book is that it deals with the gang (minus willow) all of dreams that they are people from the past. the book is great but probably better for the buffy fans who have been there from the start as its based around series 1-2 time.

bring the acopalise to earth. can buffy and crew stop him in time? tune in to see.
