Summary: Nice Beat ! !
Comment: Weight Watcher's Walk includes music and tips for three different levels of walking along with warm-up and cool-down sessions.

The music has a nice beat. When I first began walking to "Weight Watcher's Walk," I thought to myself, "I sure wish this tape didn't include that annoying warm-up session. Her voice sounds like someone who is trying to either put someone to sleep or practicing stress relief techniques."

Then I read the review written by "A Reader from Russellville, AR." I agree with her 100%. I "hate the beginning where the instructor talks through a warm-up and
stretches. Why not just start walking?"

I don't mind the cool-down, but the warm-up is an annoyance. I do my own warm-up and don't feel like listening to someone elses warm-up routine. I would like the tape much better if there was one 40 minute walk and a one hour walk.

I will continue to use this cassette tape for my walking routine because I like the beat of the music. After the warm-up, it gets better. I give it 4 stars ****.

Summary: Good for beginners
Comment: Like another reviewer, I bought this tape with high hopes for a great walk. The music is pretty, and I enjoy listening to it, but the pace is WAY TOO SLOW! I usually just put this in my walkman for company while I walk, and walk much faster. I also hate the beginning where the instructor talks through a warm-up and stretches. Why not just start walking? The longer workout, combining both sides of the tape, is what I usually use, and even this is not strenuous enough for me. Like I said before, the only reason I keep the tape, is that I like the music.

Summary: If you have never walked before....
Comment: then you might like this tape. However, if you actually like a beat in your music...run the other direction. I would recommend this to someone who has never owned a walkman and gone on an exercise walking workout. The music is from most elevator soundtracks....I would describe it as listening to a Michael Bolton cd. I have to admit that I was really in shock with the slow-jazziness of it. I had high hopes when I bought this tape....instead, my grandmother now listens to it.
