Summary: succeeds in its purpose
Comment: I picked up this book cos I knew SQUAT about physics...and now that I've read it, well, I still don't know much, but I know a bit more than squat. It doesn't go too deeply into any particular theory, but it is successful in condensing all the major ones into funny, easily digestible tidbits. -contains tons of tables, sidebars and anecdotes, plus book recommendations every 5 pages or so! The author(s) has a touch for breaking concepts down into everyday terms and a fine sense of humor (despite an incredibly inappropriate out-of-nowhere moral condemnation of Bill Clinton? ). It's a fun and incredibly quick read.
