Rating: 5
Summary: A wonderful way to incorporate technology into learning
Comment: This book is a terrific introduction to learning algebra with the graphing calculator. The problems are clear cut and extremely beneficial to my understanding. I recommend this textbook to anyone who wants a logical, well-organized, and patterned approach to learning algebra.
Rating: 5
Summary: A solid stepping stone on my way to calculus.
Comment: I was a returning college student and math was not my best subject, it is now! This book presents material using believable "Real World" problems. The authors are also believers in the real world of calculator, refering to the power graphing calculators to provide the students with a visiual concept of the numbers behind the problems. If you are looking for the sterile texts (If Johnnie has 4 apples and Jane has 3 ...) you are used to this is not it. It is fresh, new and up to date
