Comment: Want your kids to be readers for life? To enjoy the world of books out there until their old age and beyond? This book is THE answer! I am still a Dr Seuss fan 40 years after first reading him and a book like this will guarantee your kids will be eager readers for the rest of their lives as well. And 4 cheers for Hoboken - I don't know the 20 people there who bought this book, but they clearly have good taste! Comment: Be aware that the board book version of this book is NOT the same as the regular hardcover or paperback versions. The board book version is awkwardly abridged on most pages, and outright changed on others, losing much of the flow and rhythm from the original. We have all three versions (it was one of my favorite books as an early reader); the board book has its place as a temporary solution for little ones who can't yet handle a book with paper pages, but we retired our board book in favor of the real thing as soon as we could.

Summary: One of my favorite Dr. Seuss' books!
Comment: This one is fun to read out loud ~~ and it really teaches our children the fun of learning our alphabet. While they are still young to know the alphabet, they do enjoy the bright colorful pictures of this book as well as the whimiscal language Dr. Seuss is famous for!
If you like Red Fish, Blue Fish, you will enjoy this one. It moves along at a fun pace and it's not boring to repeat yourself time after time!
I highly recommend this one ~~ it's hard to get tired of reading this one!
