Comment: This book was always one of my favorites because me and my grandpa would read it together all the time and in the beginning I would always be scared but then at the end I would be laughing so hard!

Summary: The best Seuss book of all!
Comment: This is the best Seuss book of all because of they way it sneaks up on the reader (and listener). It was read to me many times 35+ years ago and I loved it then and I love it now after reading it for years to our children. I find it terrifically effective because it is creepy and scary when all you see is the pants with nobody in them, and then it turns out that everything can be scary until one knows what it is and looks at the situation from the other's point of view. The colors and classic illustrations set the spooky mood and then make one laugh and feel so silly!

Summary: Too Cute!
Comment: My mother read this book to me a long time ago when I was a child. The rhymes are contagious and now I enjoy reading it to my 4 year old son. Classical Seuss fun. My only complaint is that this version of the book is only 5 inches in dimension - it would be nice if this book were larger to better enhance the drawings inside.
