Summary: The Best Book ever on Eye Care!
Comment: This is the best book ever on how to improve your eyesight. The book is concise and easy to read. "Talking about an eye opener!" If you are serious about getting rid of your glasses, this book is a must! I recently had an eye exam after only two weeks of doing the recommended eye exercises. The results were; the right eye from -3.00 D to -2.00 D and the left eye from -3.25 D to -2.50 D. "I will be for ever grateful to the authors of this Book!".

Summary: Worthwhile
Comment: I give the AVI high marks for breaking free from the grip of inaccurate orthodox teachings about blurred vision being irreversible and how to "correct" it. It's very refreshing to hear people within the profession speaking out. However, I was disappointed that there was no reference made (at least not that I could find) to Dr. Bates, the man who pioneered natural vision improvement over 80 years ago. The AVI gives you the impression that they're onto something new, when that's certainly not the case.

I'm still not convinced of the effictiveness of many of the eye "exercises" and "booster" techniques to help speed the progress. I've been undergoing natural vision improvement for quite some time and I tried a strict regimen of exercises, including many shown in this book. I can honestly state that I don't know whether they've made any difference in my progress, although I still do a few from time to time for good measure just in case they are doing something positive. I've achieved a lot of gains (one can immediately tell) when I've least expected them, when I wasn't consciously doing anything but using my eyes naturally for day to day activities. My progress seems to be on its own time frame (just as if I were to break a bone, it will heal on its own time).

Any book that gets the message out about natural vision improvement is worthwhile in my view. This is one of four books I have on the subject and, of the four, Relearning to See is the best and most comprehensive.

Summary: Exercises didn't work but has good info about eyes
Comment: I religiously did the exercises for 2 months and I have not noticed any difference in my eyesight. I was skeptical to begin with but it's worth a shot since the book only costs 8 bucks. The book does contain some good basic medical information about the eye.

I suspect some of the miracles that happened in other reviews were written my the marketers of AVI. It's a little hard to believe this tiny group of eye doctors when overwhelming medical evidence say eye exercies wont't correct vision. But like I said, it's worth a shot.
