Summary: The Janitor's Boy
Comment: A boy named Jack had a bad day. It all started in music class when he was eating a huge piece of watermelon bubblegum and he basically ruined a desk. The principal found out and sentenced him to three weeks of after school gum clean-up for the chief custodian. It turned out that the chief custodian was his dad. It appears to be that working in the basement for so long reavals some amazing surprizes.

My opinion on this book is that it was mysterious and I like books that are mysterious.

Summary: The Janitor's Boy, a fascinating read from beginning to end!
Comment: Jack Rankin has the nose of a K-9, the ability to detect smells from blocks away. Jack is a young boy in grade school moving into the old high-school where his dad is the school janitor. Jack has to endure the embarrassment and humiliation of being in the same school as his dad, "John the Janitor," as people call him. As payment for his crime in school, he is forced to work after-school every day as the "Junior Janitor" for three weeks. Eventually, Jack realizes that there's more than just a gray jump suit and mop to being a janitor, and a strong relationship and bond between father-and-son is created. This book is short and sweet like most kids would like, but it has a great plot and great characters. I thought that Andrew Clements did a fine job writing The Janitor's Boy and was very flowing throughout the entire book. I say that the book was flowing because everything seemed to come together piece-by-piece and with every chapter you read, a part of the book would be revealed to you and you would want to keep flipping the pages.
So, read The Janitor's Boy by Andrew Clements if you're into a good book that will capture your interest from the very beginning.

Comment: The Janitors Boy is a very good book about a young boy, who creates a huge mess, because he dislikes his father for being the Janitor. This book would be #8 on my top 10 wishlist. The author uses a very good writing form, which is focused on detail. I enjoyed reading this book, and it gave me hours of fun. I will now go and read all of Andrew Clement's books. I recomend this book to all who enjoy reading very detailed stories, and who just want to have fun with reading.
