Summary: replaced beauty with stereotypes better avoided
Comment: The other reviews say it all. The whimsical artwork and prose of Wild Child and Winter Waits were completely supported by the seasonal sweetness of the books. Spring's Sprung brought more focus to querrling than to beauty of the book or of the cycles of the season. Advocating harmonious sibling relationships in my own household, I feel that bringing the message of sibling rivalry as normal and inevitable (part of the childhood "season"?)to be against my values. If you are careful about the messages you bring to your children read this book before buying.

But after a long winter's sleep the three begin quarreling and forget their duty - will spring ever arrive? The warm and gentle illustrations by Greg Couch fill every two-page spread with generous color and life, in this enchanting and enthustastically recommended picturebook fable for beginning readers.
