Summary: A fascinating and well written book
Comment: This book held my attention all the way... which is no mean achievement, given that I dropped history at school at the earliest opportunity.

Through it, I have learned much of what archaeology is (and what it isn't), how archaeologists work, and what they can tell us about the lives and times of our ancient ancestors (mainly in Britain).
