Summary: Good introduction
Comment: Postmodernism resists definition. This book defines Postmodernism. Ironic? Yes. Is irony also Postmodern? Yes. Overall, an excellent, simplified, perhaps overly clear examination of Postmodernism, but where else is the amateur to start?

I recommend this book as long as readers do not see this as the be-all and end-all of what postmodernism is. Postmodernism shouldn't be nailed down so take this book lightly.

The best part of the book is as a reference guide for further reading which is where the true crux of Postmodernism lies - in primary sources.
