Summary: A wonderful reference book
Comment: I bought this book as a registered nurse that is fairly new to the critical care field, and the first night I had it, it came in handy. By reading a few pages before going to work about being a "detective" to find out the cause of changes in a pt's condition, I was able to avert a more serious complication. I enjoyed the narrative descriptions by nurses in various settings of the critical care field, how the situations were handled, and how they could have improved them. I highly recommend this book not only for the veteran nurse, but for all the new nurses out there!! It will better your thinking skills, and improve your care overall!!
