Summary: I have this and the full sized Sabiston.
Comment: I carried the baby Sabiston around during the first half of my surgical rotation, but found that the Surgical Recall handbook was better for those short reading spurts I would do while waiting for rounds or for a case. However, you do need a good text during your rotation, so try the full sized Sabiston text and skip the little Sabiston handbook.
