Only women who have, themselves, walked through uncharted territory and discovered the faithfulness of God in their own lives could bring these Bible characters to life.
These two authors have done a wonderful job of doing just that!
This is a book I will keep to read again!

Comment: A Different Kind of Strength delves into the lives of the five women listed in Matthew's genealogy of Jesus. Crouse and LaHaye have written an insightful and intriguing book about these women-their weakness and their strengths. The naming of these five women of all the women who contributed to the lineage of Christ has always intrigued me. Among them are liars, harlots, pagans, schemers and such. Sound familiar!? Right! They are as we and therein lies hope and help for us all.
