Summary: A Work of Fiction
Comment: I ordered this book to help me with some research I was doing on white sharecropper, or tenanat families. I was more than a little disappointed to find it is a fictional account. From what I can tell it is a self-published novel, based on a lot of this man's family history. While there is nothing really wrong with the book, it should be noted before ordering that it isn't something you'd want to base research work on.

Summary: Heartfelt Accounts of Sharecropping
Comment: A touching story of a family that faced many hardships and struggles, but always remained loyal to their people. I recommend this book to anyone that enjoys reading novels about the South. I enjoyed this book.

Summary: Shocking Story of White Slavery!
Comment: In a time long past the civil war, landowners ruled the lands of the south enslaving white families. An excellent recount of these harsh times and the tortures endured by these poor neglected people!
