Summary: Wasted money!!
Comment: This book was terrible! I bought the book based on Ms. Lindsey's name-- I have sooooo many of her other books so I was excited to see this one on the bookshelf at the bookstore. By the end of the first chapter, I was bored. The characters have no redeeming qualities except for Chad and I think he's an idiot for hanging in there for two women who are petty, stupid, short sighted and FLAT! I will definitely be selling this book at my next garage sale!! and 25 cents will be asking too much for it!

Summary: Where was the editor?
Comment: I'm a Johanna Lindsey fan. I will admit that I've enjoyed some of her novels more than others. But of all of them, this has to be the most obnoxious. The characters were extremely shallow. The plot had potential but fell flat. Amanda's behavior was so contradictory at the end that it just didn't fit. But the one thing that drove me completely batty was the incorrect use of the expression "I could not care less". That is the correct use of that expression. It signifies that the speaker feels complete indifference. Throughout the novel the expression "I could care less" was used. This is incorrect! The sentence as used in the novel implies that the speaker cares a great deal not that the speaker feels indifference, which the correct use of the expression would. This was not misused once, or even twice, but MULTIPLE times. Where was the editor? And why would the publisher print such a deplorable book in hardback for heaven's sake? I'm afraid the publisher did Ms. Lindsey a disservice by not ensuring a product of the same caliber as her prior work. I was very disappointed.

Comment: I was so disappointed with the content of this book. It is very shallow, no plot, no character development. A waste of time
