Summary: Best freely available book about the 777
Comment: 'Boeing 777' is a great book about one of the most impressive airliners operating today.
The photos are very good.
The book goes into fine detail about the development and certification of the triple seven.
The only lacking in the book is that the workings of the flight deck and avionics are a bit sparse.
Other than that, there is no other book around that can match Guy Norris book.
Overall, a great book for youth and adults.
Rating: 5
Summary: If you need information on the 777 only, this is it.
Comment: This book go's through EVERYTHING about the Boeing 777, from the first computer drawings, to the test flights and first deliveries. I love it, and you will too.
Rating: 4
Summary: Informative and Eye-Pleasing But...
Comment: Guy Norris and Marker Wagner come together and present us a very informative pictorial on Boeing 777. The pictures are breath-taking. The prose traced back to the jetliner's planning, testing, certification, and current operation. What I am not pleased with the book is that it lacks info on carriers that operate the aircrafts, workings from the deck, and pictures of the interior. I do giver merit to the marvelous colored pictures of the aircrafts in this book. ***Some quick facts of the aircraft: the Boeing 777 can fly nonstop for 16 hours. The seating capacity is around 325-380. The major operators of Boeing 777 are Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airways (based in Hong Kong) and our very own United Airlines which flies daily nonstop from San Francisco to London and Paris on Boeing 777.
