Summary: For the readers with a negative feedback on this book
Comment: The readers that did not appreciate the intelligence increasing method on this book certainly did not understand how image streaming works and what it really does. Personal I had tried the techniques described in this book and it worked for me. Image streaming works by bringing into consciousness all the thoughts and perception that the brain produces which it shows in image form. That is the very reason why we have dreams when we sleep because DREAMS ARE ANALOGIC representations of the thoughts and perception that we had experience from the day or throught our whole lifetime. One of the techniques of image streaming is for the image producing faculties itself to interpret what the images means. This form of mental exercise conditions the brain to be more sensitive to relationships and analogies by stretching its powers in interpreting the analogies ( if training your mind to form associations from what seems to be unassociable ( which by the way is associable only on the deepest, deepest, sense )then how easy would it then be to form associations with more direct lines of learning such as logic?) that then forms our perception, and learning something ( not route memorization )requires us to perceive such relationships and analogies. This is what separates man from machines, the ability to see relationships and analogies. That is why I believe that creativity is synonimous with intelligence because understanding gets your brain to create such associations and if more of the different faculties of your brain are put into such operation ( through bringing them consciously online ) then learning and understanding would be quicker and more prominent. Remember the story of the great prophet Daniel of the bible, whose prophecies have mesmerized even the great minds that they devoted some of their time into studying it ( Isaac Newton ). He is said to have had been thought by God on the interpretion of dreams and was also said to have impressed kings ( King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, The kings of Medo-Persia ) with his great WISDOM ( then termed as intelligence ) and excellent spirit. The readers that said "it did not work for them" possibly did not realise the importance of saying the images aloud and the describing of it in reach sensory detail. Describing the images aloud in reach sensory deatail conditions your mind to be alert and perceptive to even the tiniest, minutes, details, forcing you to realise things that you had never realised before which then increasess your intelligence. Put it this way, an intelligent man sees more of the world than that of his lesser intelligent self. For those of you who thinks the author claims the things he claims for business purposes then just go to his online "Project Renaissance" were you could get the image streaming method described in the book for free. Just one more thing, being aware of something gets the microscopic effect going. The microscopic effect is the effect that you get when you observe something and you tend to find yourself learning more and more about the thing. Now we all posses this ability, its a law of our minds, but imagine how intelligent you could be if this process is accelerated through mental conditioning? Your consciousness would be elevated to another level. Think of how you view the world now compared to when you were a little child. Dont you see and perceive more of the world now, obviously yes and that is because accelerated microscopic effect ( from your much mature mind ) forms more associations between the elements of your world and the more associations in turn forms a much deeper kind of association ( harder concepts and perception ) and in turn forms a much, much, deeper associations. You see, the bigger the number of assocations you begin with ( through an accelerated microscopic effect ) the more deeper in concept the final associations become. Image streaming conditions your mind in the forming of such associations.

Summary: New Age Brainstorming
Comment: Wenger and Poe's book The Einstein Factor is an ideal primer on brainstorming both individually and in a group setting.
The authors contend that the primary distinction between you and the geniuses of yore (Einstein, Edison, Rabelais, etc.) is their "combinatorial play" of other senses and thoughts and their openness to ideas. Through the technique of Image Streaming, the authors contend that normal folks can achieve similar results. In Image Streaming, you close you eyes and describe (aloud) the first image that you see without repressing any images.
Sound like "new age" brainstorming to you? Perhaps, but the technique is a valid alternative to free association (writing down all the ideas that one comes up with and linking ideas and expanding on others). In addition to Image Streaming, the authors also suggest writing down your ideas citing the Mankato nuns of Mankato, Minnesota who lived longer lives because of the increased neural connections formed when writing.
There are other valuable techniques contained in the text, but most are centered around the Image Streaming technique. If you are interested in alternative brainstorming techniques, this is the book for you. If you are looking for more general texts on improving one's mental abilities I suggest Scott Witt's How to Be Twice as Smart.

Summary: A few concepts in this book
Comment: Describing an image links the visual part of your brain to the linguistic part, causing an increase in synaptic connections. We learn best when we balance mental input with output. For example, a good conversation is better than just talking or just listening. You learn alot more when your mind actively organizes, instead of passively reading. So take notes and write a brief review of what you have read; if you make a habit of just that, you will get smarter.
I don't know about "Image streaming", but several other concepts in this book are very valuable.
