Rating: 5
Summary: Great beginner book
Comment: This book is one of the best I've seen on learning Visual Basic 6. It doesn't assume any programming knowledge and simply builds on skills learned from previous chapters. Before you know it, you are able to create some pretty impressive programs.
The examples are simple so that beginners can get their head around the topic being discussed without getting lost in code. The author points out important details clearly.
Coverage of graphics, Winsock, ActiveX control creation, and even Active Directory give you a solid reportoire of valuable skills.
I thoroughly recommend this book to anyone wanting to learn to program Visual Basic 6.
