Summary: Great for those with sensitive skin
Comment: I am very fair with sensitive skin that reacts to many skincare products by breaking out, drying out or turning reddish. I have found some of the cleansers, toners and masks to be very good for my skin and it has improved after only one week of faithful use of the natural ingredients in the book. There are charts in the book which show what is best for different types of skin so you can tailor your recipes to get exactly what is best for your skin. I do like the smell and consistency of commercially prepared products better, but the additives and perfumes were part of the reason I was having problems with my skin. Before reading this book, I had no idea how many common ingredients can be good for my skin. The book is well worth buying just for the skincare recipes, but the hair and nail care recipes are also well worth trying. Another benefit is the savings. By using the ingredients in the book, I can save alot of money.

Comment: I'm thoroughly enjoying reading and trying out the recipes in this book. Ms. Duff's directions are absolutely foolproof, her ingredients are easy to find. Recipes are easy and effective and the information she provides (e.g. the charts on what herbs or ingredients to use for each skin type and hair type) is so very useful. Once you try beauty products from this book, you will never settle for the inferiority of commercially produced cosmetics (yes, that includes Shiseido, Christian Dior and Lancome!).

Comment: This is a great book. If you are intrested in this topic, this is deffinitely the book to buy! It provides basic recipes which you customize, and specific recipes. It also includes great charts that tell how herbs, oils, and more benefit your skin, nails, and hair. Additionally, instructions for massages, manicures and more are included. All the recipes are fast, easy, and fun, and the ingredients are cheap and easy to find.
