Summary: An Excellent Resource
Comment: I found this to be an excellent, useful, and delightfully readable guide. Lubow has selected college towns throughout the country that he considers especially appealing candidates for retirement and profiles each in a thorough and thoughtful way. His writing style is clear, unpretentious, personal, and honest. This book is both useful and fun to read. Highly recommended.

Summary: Review of Choose a College Town for Retirement
Comment: I was very disappointed also with this book. I was familiar with at least 95% of the colleges listed. I'd hoped to see some new and refreshing ideas for college towns but was able to skim this book in a very short time and put it down. It wasn't worth the money.

Summary: Disappointing!
Comment: I expected much more of this book. There are MANY cities and towns in the U.S. having 4-year colleges .... and this book perhaps looks at 0.5% of the total number .... Perhaps I should have looked at the book's page count before I bought it. That would have been a clue to the low number of cities and towns covered. Look at the low prices being asked for used copies of this book. That gives a telling clue to the low values that buyers of the new book place on their used books. I personally do not recommend this book.
