Comment: I have just read my copy of "Sea Kayak Rescue -- The Definitive Guide to Modern Reentry and Recovery Techniques" by Roger Schumann and Jan Shriner. And like their classes, it is outstanding.

Everything is covered from basic paddle float reentry to the "Hand of God" rescue. And it is written in a straight foward style with plenty of photos to make things clear. It even includes some real-life stories.

There is also plenty of basic information about safety, equipment and skills.

Anyone who paddles anywhere, from flat lakes to the raging sea can find something to learn in this book, so it is a must read for everyone.
