Summary: a must-have for the clerical civil service exam!!
Comment: I purchased this book 3 weeks prior to taking the civil service clerical exam. I read the book and did all the practice exams. When I went to take the test, I knew what to expect and had confidence in my ability to do well. 50% of all people who take the test fail. Although the test is difficult, you owe it to yourself to be fully prepared before going in. This book is a excellent way to do that. The actual civil service clerical exam is divided into two sections: Clerical Abilities and Verbal Abilities. I thought that the Verbal Abilities test was harder than the examples in the book, but the Clerical Abilities test would be close to impossible without the information in this book. I can't imagine why anyone would go to all the trouble of taking this exam without preparing for it in advance. My advice: Buy the book and STUDY it before you go!!
