Rating: 1
Summary: Ed Tittel's first joke
Comment: Do not purchase this book if you wish to do something with NT. It reads more like a Microsoft advertisement and is probably only useful for a non-computer literate corporate purchasing officer. If you really want to know about how to really use NT, buy Ed Tittel's Windows NT Server 4 for Dummies which also includes great hidden tips.
Rating: 5
Summary: The end all be all to introducing networks to any newbie!
Comment: I feel that this book is essential to have in any small business to large business library. From the glossary of terms to the picture layout forum it enables any worker to be able to access needed info for daily duties and the inevitalble trouble shooting!!
Rating: 4
Summary: Good for those who are just starting!
Comment: Those who are complaining that this book doesn't contain enough "meat" should remember that this book is meant only to get a basic grasp of terms and concepts and that other "meatier" books will be required to expand your knowledge. As a NEW NT4 Network Administrator, I appreciate the non-technical jargon and that they don't go too indepth. I learned what I needed to start...now onto those "techie" books!!
P.S. My Network is running fantasically!!
