Summary: This Book Was Fantastic!!
Comment: I'm only going to be 13 in May but I loved this book very much. I thought it taught a good lesson. My sister got the book for my mom for Christmas and if my mom reads a book and thinks I'll like it she let's me read it. Well she thought I would so I read it. I just finished it the other day. I think it teaches a lot about people and the real world. I think people take for granted everything they really have. This book taught me a a lot and I don't think many books would teach you a lot about the world as this one did. If you haven't read it I'm telling you now, you'll love it. Take it from the eyes of a 12 yr. old kid.

Summary: Reminded me of what I've forgotten
Comment: A friend of mine loaned me this book during a time of loss and sorrow in my life. It really helped me to realize that life does go on and what really matters in life- people and relationships. It has helped me to once again seek out human contact- to help, learn from, and to touch somebody's life everyday. This book is a good reminder of what everyone already knows but has forgotten.

Summary: can't relate
Comment: I enjoy Mitch Albom's writing but had a hard time relating to Morrie. He talks a lot about not just striving for money and success. Some how though he could aford to have 24x7 home care. My parents both went through months of near physical helplessness before they died and I only wished I could have afford the type of care Morrie apparently received. It's easy to talk about not being money hungry when you already have it along with a university job that wasn't in danger of being downsized. I am sure he was sincere but if he was poor and his wife or a child needed 24x7 care that he couldn't afford I wonder what he would say then.
