Summary: Extremely outdated, covers "new" gui ala Windows 3.0
Comment: If you've been living under a rock for the last 10+ years, then this book might be useful to you. The book targets console programmers (as in scrolling text, not games!) who are making the big leap to graphical user interface style programs. If you've used a computer in the last ten years, you probably know everything this book mentions. That said, from a historical perspective it _was_ worth the hour of time to read the book.
