Summary: My kids disagree with the Horn Book review
Comment: My five-year-old twins love this book, as do I. I've seen a lot of dinosaur books, and this one stands out for its vivid illustrations and informative, well organized text. It gives just enough detail to provide a good overview of dinosaurs, and covers just about all the topics young kids could want to know. A couple of the pictures are a bit scary for the kids. This isn't a book we read at bedtime (for that, I highly recommend "I'm A Big Brontosaurus" if you can find it, with its lots of friendly dinosaurs and only a couple moderately fierce ones). But this is still the one that really got my kids interested in LEARNING about dinosaurs and the differences among them.
