Summary: It'd be hard for the next book in the series to top this...
Comment: I just finished BiA and I am awed once again. This time by the DUO of Weis and Perrin. I'm not sure how Perrin helped with the novel, but I don't care; The two of them now married I take it, did a masterful job with this part of the Raistlin Chronicles. Without a doubt, the funniest parts of the novel were the scenes with the Mad Baron. I don't want to give anything away, but this is without a doubt one of the most original and unique characters I have ever read. Simply put, this book was awesome and was better than the Soulforge. I await the next book! (THERE BETTER BE ONE!)

Summary: Um, well, OK.
Comment: I can't say I didn't enjoy "Brothers in Arms". It's a fun book, and nice to read. However it's less good than "The Soulforge" and it's not even close to the Dragonlance Chronicles or Legends. While "The Soulforge" is an important book, since it shows us the young and "uncorrupted" (Or should I say "real"?) Raistlin, "Brothers in Arms" has no importance at all. In the "Chronicles" they let us know that the twins were soldiers of fortune, but this information is not from the kind that we need to understand the complex relationship between them. "Brothers in Arms" is a good book, and I believe that the twins are in the closest part of their relationship, but the plot is kind of silly, and even needs the help of a kender (OK, Half-A-Kender) to save it. Yet, 5 stars, read it, just for fun.

Summary: A very interesting book...
Comment: Okay, we all know that there have been stories written about the Majere brothers' (Caramon and Raistlin) days as mercenaries for hire, which is how they spent the five years preceeding the Chronicles. This is the official version, written by one of the core authors of Dragonlance. It is a very good novel, detailing the combat training of Raistlin and Caramon, as well as their first battle experience as members of an army-for-hire. This book also follows their half-sister, Kitiara Uth-Matar as she takes the first major steps toward her own fate.
