Summary: Hopper's Calendar Creates A Room with a View
Comment: Edward Hopper is one of my all time favorite artists. The painting "A Room With a View' is not offered in this calendar, but offers other paintings that give you the same "I want to go inside this painting" feeling. This calendar offers a good variety of different subject matter and scenery. It also shows many prints that haven't been shown in other recent year's selections. Although some of my personal favorites aren't included, the calendar would be a nice view in your home, office or classroom.

Summary: the gift to classic New england
Comment: Ed Hopper captures classic new england with his brillant landscapes, cityscapes and everything else. We see our lonely selves in his work, the loneliness that exists in our society. The lonely gas station owner waiting for a customer in "Gas". His use of sunlight is breathtaking yet heartbreaking at times.The sun going down on a lonely Glouster house on a lonely Glouster street. Its all good, it's all Hopper, amen.
