Comment: I work as an adjunct at the University of Central Florida teaching a required course for students who will be entering the teaching profession. The text I use is "Teachers Discovering Computers".

The book's focus is on Computer, Information and Integration literacy. Each area is thoroughly covered in content detail, enhanced by photos and diagrams and supported with a wealth of unline material from the Cashman site. Every chapter has a review section, sites to go to on the web for additional information, and tips for teachers on integrating what they have learned. I would suggest anyone in or about to enter education, purchase this text so they too might make the most of technology in the classroom.
