Summary: Save your money.
Comment: This book goes to great lenghts to teach proper database creation (including naming conventions), however, the section on macros is very lacking. The author provides a passable tutorial.
Rating: 4
Summary: Nice Resource
Comment: Mr. Roger Jennings, the author of this massive volume, has presented the modern computer user with an excellent and extensive resourse. Although the volume is comprehensive, it is not exhaustive. To begin with, the book goes through the process of creating a database, although it tends to be poorly organized at times. There should be a comprehensive appendix of commonly used information such as datatypes. I don't suggest this volume to the novice, although an accomplished user will find this as an excellent reference tool. You might consider another volume if you are trying to learn relational databases for the first time
Rating: 3
Summary: Warnings to the Audience
Comment: Using Access 95 grades itself as having an accomplished to expert user level on the back cover. This is hardly the case. I read most of it, and now it sits at the bottom of my pile of technical tomes. On the upside, the book would meet the reference needs of a new or casual user, but anything beyond that and Using Access 95 finds itself lacking
