Summary: delighted 8 year old twins & their tough 11 year old brother
Comment: Checked this book out from the local library & we all loved it so much that I have ordered a copy for my kids for Christmas. It's just so funny & quirky--you'll never feel the same going into Krispy Kreme again. I can't wait for Laurie Keller to put another book out there! COntinued success to her!

Summary: Please buy this book...
Comment: I say please buy this because then publishers will be forced to make more like it. It's rare that you get to share real works of art with your little ones (that also make them giggle), but Arnie is the real deal.
The drawings, layout, text, and humor are all completely top-notch, unique, ambitious, and successful. Besides, it's a book that has a doughnut as a main character. How can it go wrong?
The only thing left is to challenge Ms. Keller to reach further into the mundane/inane: How about "Charlie the Doorstop," "Barney the Blender," or "Frankie the Fusilli"?
