Title: Innovations in Computerized Assessment by Fritz Drasgow, Julie B. Olson-Buchanan ISBN: 0-8058-2877-X Publisher: Lea Pub. Date: 01 August, 1999 Format: Paperback Volumes: 1 List Price(USD): $34.50 |

Summary: CAT-light
Comment: This book is a good reference for those afraid of technical issues in computerized adaptive testing. That being said, this book is a great reference for examples of how other CATs were built, ranging from CATs used by the millitary, to CATs used by local school districts, to CATs for non-traditional test items (such as multimedia audio and video clips). I recommend this for those who want an introduction to CAT, but not a review of how CATs actually work.
