Comment: It provides some fundamental definitions/distinctions which are extremely important. The section on Pastoral Counseling and Maturity helps to give you an understanding of basic spirituality. Some areas were more of the same from counseling skills standpoint. But sections relating to the different ministries within pastoral counseling were very helpful by providing basic structure. Overall it is very comprehensive, prepares you for sessions, and give you a good historical base (theoritical and Spritual). It is worth purchasing it a good resource as well as just beginning.
