Summary: Great way to get the ideas flowing
Comment: I gave a 5-star review to a book that's a "companion" of sorts to this one, by the same author: "101 Ways to Make Your Child Feel Special." Both books are wonderful in that they give parents inspiration on affectionate acts to show a child that they're loved.
"101 Ways to be a Special Dad" has somehow additionally managed to capture the kinds of things that fall in a dad's special sphere. It's a lot more than just a re-hash of the same material.
I recommend this book to any father, as a way to keep focused on nurturing a child in those ways that only a dad can.

Summary: A great gift for a new Dad
Comment: I gave this book to my husband after the birth of our second child. I was really impressed and touched by some of the activities suggested in the book. Some were so simple, yet things we don't think about when going about our busy lives. I think any Dad would enjoy reading it, but especially someone becoming a Dad for the first time.
