Summary: Great, convincing book about the end of the world
Comment: If you've read the book of Revelation in the Bible and find it confusing, you need to read The Orion Conspiracy. Wade brings the prophecies home to America today and shows, in the form of a novel, how they could be fulfilled in the very near future. As far as this sort of book goes, this is the best. I know lots of people who have read it, many of them English professors (like me). Some consider it trashy, pop. culture. However, they all agree the book is nearly impossible to put down. This is definitely a "riveting read." I'm going to be teaching a new course in "Apocalyptic Fiction" at the state university where I work, and The Orion Conspiracy will be a featured novel. Read it!
