Summary: A pleasurable and fast read
Comment: Constance Hall knows how to move the plot along in this beauty and the beast story. Kelsey and Edward are a memorable hero and heroine. I like the author's humor, her pathos, and the ending leaves you wanting to read more.

Summary: Charming characters and story that kept me engaged.
Comment: A reclusive Duke scarred both physically and emotionally... a beautiful artist who has a personal grudge against the Duke, but desparately needs the commission... a zany butler that interferes like a doting father... and I found myself with a story that stuck to the heart and the funny bone. Hey, my mom loved it also.

Comment: I skimmed this book in about an hour. It never led me to slow down and read it with more attention. The characters were not particularly interesting. However, it was largely inoffensive, not appalling, just not absorbing.
