Comment: Ed Silvoso does an incredible job of weaving together the solid biblical basis and practical outworking of how to reach entire cities for Christ. It's so SIMPLE - We've missed it! Ed Silvoso shares his incredibly practical insights that are based on the scriptures and tested and proven on the battlefield. What sets this books apart from others on similar subjects is that it presents a working model for city reaching not simply theoretical knowledge. You will quickly warm up to Ed as he humbly shares his battle scars and triumphant victories in hopes that everyday readers will be challenged and equipped to reach their cities for Christ! It can happen! Every Christian should read this book!!!!!!!!!

Summary: LIFE CHANGING BOOK! EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ IT!
Comment: This book has not only changed my life but has changed the coarse of our church and city. Ed is such a wise and insightful man of God. He is such a clear and talented writer. It is obvious that he deeply loves the Lord and therefore has a sincere love for all people. He is one of our favorite public speakers. My wife and I met Ed Silvoso at a book signing once and he proved to be one of the most down to earth, humble, and kindest public figures we have ever met. This book is so awesome! Read it! When is his next book coming out?

Summary: Book dishonors God and is not Biblically accurate.
Comment: The author dishonors God and is Biblically inaccurate when he describes God as not having control of what happened on earth from the time Adam sinned to the time Jesus was crucified.
He claims that when God created Adam, he made Adam master of the entire earth. However, the "ownership" of earth passed to Satan when Adam sinned. Once Satan had ownership, God was left looking from the outside without being able to influence events on earth. According to Ed Silvoso, God was no longer in charge of his creation and was unable to challenge Satan in things related to man and earth. God was only able to regain control of earth when Jesus was crucified.
In the Bible it is very clear that God had control of events throughout all history. Two examples come to mind. In the book of Job, Satan had to obtain direct and specific permission from God before doing anything to Job and Moses led Israel out of Egypt under the direct control of God.
The book is dangerously vague as to which denominations should be allowed to join in your prayer evangelism. Should you allow Catholics, Jehovah Witnesses, Mormons, etc? To which denominations or religions whould you lend your efforts? Who will take care of the new sheep?
The author also fails to discuss the dangers of compromise. In order to bring all the denominations of a city as one in prayer you have to be careful not to compromise your faith and your Biblical beliefs.
Before reading this or any other religious book, you need to be very familiar with the Bible and stand in sound doctrine. This book does not stand in sound Biblical doctrine.
