Summary: Prayerful, Sciptural and Logical
Comment: A book which prayerfully and logically examines both Complementarian and Egalitarian views on scripture, and proposes similarities and alternatives to both interpretations of specific passages. In the process of reading this book, my eyes were opened to some of my own sin, and I believe this will be true for every Christian reader.

Summary: Eve's spirit still with us
Comment: Interesting to note that how easily it is to see through the subtle attacts upon God's order through seemingly reasoned thoughts. Even the serpent of old reasoned with Eve and swayed her. Then she swayed Adam. Must let God's word be the final authority and not man's reason alone.

Summary: "It Is Not Good For Man To Be Alone"
Comment: We have Sarah Sumner to thank for helping us understand the full ramification of that statement and many others. She demonstrates her love for the church by taking the time to carefully lead us through an insightful exploration of many of the key scripture verses that have defined our traditional as well as current attitudes of the roles of men and women in marriage as well as the church. Her viewpoint is enlightened, compassionate, and conciliatory. No one who seriously is concerned about the state of Christian marriage and leadership today can afford to overlook or dismiss this important work.
