Summary: interesting story, but too long
Comment: I enjoyed the story, and it has some funny moments, but as with the first book in the series and also with Roanoke, Elwell seems to enjoy holding off any sort of resolution, and peppers the storyline with near-misses. Near the end there are a few too many dungeon/prison scenes that seem to serve no real purpose except to extend the story. Then, true resolution happens about 2 pages from the end of the book. Like other readers, I didn't want to put the book down, but found it, at times, to be a frustrating read.

Summary: An Amazing Tale of Finding True Love
Comment: This book was so moving. The author transports you back to a time of knights and fair ladies; as well as the lower class people who have to struggle to stay alive. It is a wonderful tale of finding true love where you least expect it, and its the kind of book you can't put down. I cried throughout the whole last chapter! This is definately one of my favorite books.

Comment: This book was great! It was well-written and kept me interested. The plot is very colorful and intrigueing. This is one of those the books that once you start reading it you just don't want to put down, so don't start reading it without a lot of time on your hands!
