Summary: Strength through the eyes of a woman...
Comment: What a series. The main character and her tribulations are just breathtaking. She believes in God and Christ and never lets go. This was the first series from Francine Rivers I've read and it's truly a work of art. She shows Hadassah as a strong woman that is not beaten down by the pressures of the Roman Empire. I could not step away from all three books once I got started. By the end of the first book I knew I had to go on because I was crying so hard. I knew when I got so envouled in the story line that it felt so close to home. AMAZING series. You don't have to be a "believer" to enjoy this series just someone that needs a book to read. I have never liked reading but I'll take a F. Rivers book any day and this has to be the best of hers!

Summary: AMAZING WORK!!!!
Comment: I read this series a few years ago and absolutly loved it. i finished Voice in 3 days and was so excited about the next one that i drove to a really far bookstore at 5 in the morning so i could be there as soon as they opened to get the next book i was really inspired be Rivers writing so much so that i read about the bible character Haddessa that inspired the book character and her faith is so admirable that i want to name a child after her (the bible character not the fictional)these books were so good i passed them to all my friends and they loved them too i now have to replace them because they are literally falling apart!!! thay've been read so many times these books will change you they made faith come to life in me in such a way with prayer and living my faith so that others are impacted in a possitive way im so happy to have an example of how to weather rough times with god leading and not trying to do it myself my point being that its nice to have a female example of christianity where the example has always been a males faithfulness anyway im just really pleased with the mark series and recomend them for everyone but a warning if you are not straight in your walk with Christ this book with convict you to get striaght with God it convicted me

Summary: Amazing
Comment: This is the very first Francine Rivers book I read, and I'm hooked for life.
Initially, I was wary of the categorisation "Christian Romance" having read a couple that were unbelievably preachy and historically inaccurate.
Francine Rivers has written a book that is not just Christian, it is eminently human, professionally researched and masterfully put together in such a way that nobody, Christian or otherwise, who reads this book, can go away untouched by the "realness" of the personalities and situations described.
The only other work of fiction I can liken this trilogy to is The Lord of the Rings, the difference being that Rivers has written a book that is both exciting fiction and accurate historical fact.
