Comment: This book is a reprint of the 1906 translation of the first edition of Otto Weininger's Geschlecht und Charakter (1903). Before he died, Weininger made many corrections and improvements which appear in the second and later editions.

The 1906 translation is notoriously inaccurate and incomplete. A proper and complete translation of the second edition is in the final stages of preparation, and will soon be available from the Indiana University Press.
