Summary: A Horrible Way to Learn Geometry
Comment: I used this geometry book in my math class this last year and found it extremely frustrating to use, even in co-ordination with a math class (although the teacher was not very helpful). My class and I often had to use the book as our only resource, because the teacher was so awful, and it was difficult to learn from its explanations. If you're looking for a good book on geometry, look elsewhere!

Summary: A Math Nerd
Comment: Geometry for Enjoyment and Challenge was an excellent resource for me as I studied Geometry on my own this past year. The textbook being used in my geometry class was somewhat incomplete and too simple so my math teacher, and Geometry team coach, issued me an old copy of this book--Geometry for Enjoyment & Challenge. I sat in the back of class and studied this text. The problems, though challenging, provided the mental stimulation I'd been looking for in a math class. By spring, I was able to win 1st place in Geometry in my state's Mu Alpha Theta Competition using theorems and skills gained from this book. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to gain a useful grasp of Geometry.

Summary: Something wrong with this book
Comment: I took a course were unfortunatly i had to study using this book. While thats not really possible considering the answers make no sense and they give you the hardest problems that you can not solve because they do not give you enough information, while im sorry that im so stupid i could not figure it out just by looking at it. now if you do not think that there is something wrong with this book listen to one of there problems: "arnex has a number of angles in his pocket. he takes out two of the five. what is the probablity..." Other names include "shad", "daffy difference", and a lesson called "the case of the missing diagram." now a positive about this book is that it is easy to understand what they are asking and they do not give you stupid explanations for why you need to know geometry. If your serious about geometry by all means consider this book but if your stuck with this book in class do all that you can to stay away from it
