Comment: An invaluable resource to the voting records, districts and biographies of each and every member of the United States House of Representatives and Senate, this book deserves a place on a shelf close at hand in the library of every researcher, lobbbyist or citizen who hopes to use the telephone or E-Mail to inform the appropriate members of concerns she/he may have about issues which come before Congress. Even though a new edition of the book comes out every two years in April of the odd-numbered years following the congressional elections, the old editions of the book are worth keeping as a resource and record of how a long-term member voted on an issue years before. In this way, the researcher reading this book can more accurately predict how a particular member is likely to vote on any issue currently before the Congress.
