Summary: The Crusades: A Biographical History
Comment: I am a homeschooler, and I bought this book because I was looking for something about the Crusades written specifically for younger children. This one fits the bill, although the language is rather dry and patronizing. It has some very nice illustrations and a few quotations from actual sources. I could see this book in a school library for 2nd-5th graders to use for research, but it is not the fun book I was hoping for. I'm not sure that I would recommended for homeschoolers.
