Summary: Excellent case studies
Comment: The book is overall very inclusive and addresses a broad range of topics necessary in environmental application of GIS. The only weakness for student use would be in fundamentals of the science and need for more definition of terms and practices. This is one of the few good compilations of actual GIS use.
