Summary: Conservative view, but not only for religious people...
Comment: I read this book for a class my junior year of high school, but after the end of the semester when I could have thrown the book away, I kept it and read the chapters/readings that were never assigned in class. It's divided into sections that really deal with modern times, such as "Do You Really Expect Me to Believe In Miracles?" and "Why Should I Believe In a Religion Invented for Weak People?" and each section has 3-7 or so readings discussing the issue. Some are from magazines, some are Q&A types that look like Dear Abby submissions.
Ultimately, the book's conservative, protestant, Christian Reformed view of the world is heavily emphasized, but I believe this book is a step above similar books I've read over the years. It isn't just for believers, it's also for those unsure, and even those adamantly against religion. It doesn't claim to have all the answers of be the "only way."
